Perfect for the Garden
MaxiMulch is clean and safe to use. It is non toxic and safe for children and animals.
Although we do have a large garden we do have a lot of beds and borders, with a wide variety of plants and shrubs. We started using mulch a few years ago as it really reduced the amount of weeding and maintenance and also saved on watering. We found that the usual bark mulch lasted about 2 years before it needed topping up. We bought it in large bags from our local garden centre.
Last year we heard of MaxiMulch and thought we’d try it because it looked different! We are really pleased with it. It is much easier and quicker to lay, then push it level with the back of a rake. Once in place it rarely moves, unlike the bark mulch which always needs to be raked to fill in holes that keep appearing. The pale colour faded to a nice woody grey brown after a couple of months. Because the chips are so small it seems to act like a carpet around and beneath the plants so weeds don’t seem to appear at all.
We’ve also watered less this year but that might have more to do with the summer weather! Now we’ve found MaxiMulch, we’ll be sticking with it!
