Why Maxibed?

MaxiBed is a quality dust extracted bedding product. It provides a warm, well draining bed, which is easier to maintain than other forms of bedding.

MaxiBed is made from clean recycled wood, processed by us in our own factory to stringent quality standards. We undertake the full production cycle from collecting wood waste from our growing customer base through to production, packing and distribution to our stockists and end users. We are located in the beautiful East Yorkshire Wolds, and are a family run business with a small team of dedicated and hard working staff.

Unlike other bedding materials wood fibre remains friable, meaning that it does not “cake” together. This makes it is very easy to maintain as muck can be simply lifted straight off the top of the bed, reducing the amount of material needed to maintain the bed on a daily basis; it also drains really well leaving the top of the bed dryer and more comfortable.

MaxiBed is available throughout the UK from our appointed stockists or direct delivery from our factory. MaxiBed comes in weather resistant, heat sealed bales weighing approximately 25kg each.

To keep our costs down we do not (unlike other manufacturers) spend huge sums on advertising and sponsorship, preferring instead to pass these savings on to our customers. Our marketing is based on producing a consistent quality product, providing excellent service, keeping our prices competitive and relying on our growing reputation for quality and service to sell MaxiBed.
