FAQs
What is MaxiBed used for?
MaxiBed is a quality dust extracted bedding product. It provides a warm, well draining bed, which is easier to maintain than other forms of bedding. As a family firm with strong connections in the farming and equestrian sectors we are always happy to discuss using MaxiBed and the many varied applications to which it is suited. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss any questions you may have.
Is MaxiBed harmful?
No it is biodegradable and after use it can be disposed of in the same way as other traditional forms of bedding. MaxiBed is made from clean recycled wood, processed by us in our own factory to stringent quality standards.
What if my animal is sensitive to dust allergies?
MaxiBed is made from recovered wood fibre which unlike other types of raw materials used in the manufacture of bedding material is low in dust from the outset. All remaining fine dust is extracted during the manufacturing process which makes MaxiBed ideal for use with animals who are sensitive to dust allergies and respiratory conditions.
What can I use MaxiBed for?
MaxiBed has many varied applications to which it is suited but it is perfect bedding for horses, chickens, foul and pigeons, game, other poultry, reptiles, domestic and exotic pets.
Is MaxiBed easy to muck out?
A MaxiBed bed is really easy to maintain. Muck can simply be lifted straight off the surface leaving the bed beneath undisturbed. This means less MaxiBed is then required to replenish and maintain the bed.
How much MaxiBed will I need?
