HotPellets should always be used in accordance with the appliance manufacturer’s recommendations.

It is always advisable to clean out the hopper first and adjust the operational settings to get the most out of HotPellets. (Residual dust and different sized pellets should be removed as these affect the clean burn properties).

With any pellets care should be taken when handling to avoid damaging and breaking up the pellets as appliances perform best if the pellets are of a consistent size range and residual dust is minimised.

Ash can be mixed into muck heaps and compost heaps as a soil conditioner.
